" Nothing ventured, Nothing gained"

Gratitude is the key to happiness - Actually it is not what we do not have instead it is what we already have it. That is more important than everything. Can you get it? In other words, we should not always concern about what we do not get it instead of we should ask why we didn't get it. WHY?

" Nothing ventured, nothing gained" 不入虎穴,焉得虎子. Most of the good stuff requires taking a risk. Always remember fear is more of a signal that we must stay alert and cautious. We can feel fear, but we can still move forward anyway.

"Success people always think of a solution, Lazy people will busy thinking of excuses."

Here's the truth: There is no one single secret to success and there's no set path that guarantees success over failure. However, there are key traits that successful people have in common that without a doubt contribute to their ability to succeed when others seem to flounder.

There are 7 of them:
1. Positive Thinking 2. Solution Orientation 3. Big Picture Thinking 4. Ambition and Drive 5.  Sense of Urgency 6. Results Focused 7. Persistence, Persistence, and Persistence

1. Positive Thinking

You’ve heard the saying that to think positive is to see the glass as half full, and to think negative is to see the glass as half empty? Well, positive thinking is taking the glass half full mentality and applying it to every part of your life.

Successful people are optimistic. Successful people always find the positive from any situation, problem, or issue that lies in their path to success. Successful people always believe that whatever it is that is happening in their life is happening for a purpose.

Most importantly, by thinking positive you’re able to learn much, and much more from everything that happens to you, good or bad. Its often said that you learn the most from your problems, temporary failures, and issues that you face, not from the successes. But you can only get the learning you need by thinking positively and finding the benefit from the situation, learning what you can do to avoid it in the future, and continuing on your path to success. JUST KEEP LEARNING, every day is the learning process.

2. Solution Orientation

Everybody has problems in their life. Same as you and me. Everyone of us has our own issues that need to overcome to achieve success. The differences between successful people and unsuccessful people are how they handle the problems in their life.

Unsuccessful people have the pool mentality. They believe that things are happening to them, that they have no control over what is happening. Even worse, they complain about the problems in their life.

On the other hand, Successful people have a solution-oriented mentality.  They believe that there is a solution to the problems that they are currently facing. They believe that there is always another way to overcome any issue. Think of a solution, Look for a solution!

More importantly, successful people act rather than complain. Successful people never complain, they always look for a solution to overcome the problem that they’re facing, no matter how terrible the situation looks.

3. Big Picture Thinking

Successful people love to think big. Successful people have a goal for a better life. Successful people know they are destined for a better life.

Thinking big is an essential trait of successful people. Thinking big is when you see in your mind's eye a goal that is bigger than you are. Thinking big is having a dream and working at making that dream come true. Thinking big is when you visualize what your life would be like if it were perfect in every respect, then taking action on making it happen.

The Best example I can think of when it comes to thinking big is Bill Gates; before he started Microsoft he had a vision of what he would like to achieve in his life that every business and every household should have a computer. He followed his dream and has created a life that in the beginning, was just a dream.

CEO of AirAsia and inspiring leader Tony Fernandes said, "Dreams can become a reality if you dare to dream big."

4. Ambition and Drive

Ambition is a strong desire to succeed. Ambition is when you put in great effort to achieve something important in your life. Ambition is when you are so excited about achieving your goal that moving toward your goal is like been sucked into a tornado. Successful people are ambitious.
Successful people are eager to reach their goals. They don't just sit off the sideline and wait for things to happen to them, they take action every day because they are eager to make things happen.

Successful people have such a strong desire to make things happened that nothing can stop them.

If your ship doesn't come in, swim out to meet it. Winters, J. Grammy Award-winning comedian, actor, writer, and artist.

5. Sense of Urgency

Time is the most valuable and the most limited resource in the world. Successful people know this, they move at a very fast pace and they want to make things happen today. Unsuccessful people keep putting things off until tomorrow, and the problem is tomorrow never comes. Moving with a sense of urgency means not wasting time on the mundane.

6. Results Focused

Successful people are satisfied with pleasing results. Unsuccessful people are satisfied with pleasing actions. Successful people are focused on the result they achieve. Unsuccessful people are focused on how they do the task.

Being results focused means setting goals and objectives, and doing everything in your power to achieve them. Being results focused means only being satisfied with results. Being results focused means not wasting time. Being results focused means taking action on the most important tasks and getting them done.

Have you heard about the 80/20 rule? This simply means that 20% of your activities are responsible for 80% of your results, and 80% of your activities are responsible for 20% of your results. Being results focused means knowing what the 20% of tasks contribute 80% of the results and working single-mindedly on those tasks until they are completed.

7. Persistence, Persistence, and Persistence

Persistence is the single most important characteristic of successful people. Persistence is what makes all the other characteristics fall into place. Successful people never give up. They know there will be setbacks and temporary failures but keep moving forward despite them. Unsuccessful people can't handle the setbacks and temporary failures and quit.

Persistence is never giving up. Persistence is never quitting. Persistence is when you know your goal, what you really want to achieve in your life, and deciding to never give up on achieving that goal. Persistence is deciding to either achieve your goal or die trying.

Persistence is when you keep moving forward on your goal even when things seem their darkest. And with persistence and perseverance heart, you will achieve anything you want to achieve in your life.

The Mayonnaise Jar *Golf Balls*

When things in your life seem,  almost too much to handle,
When 24 Hours in a day is not enough,
Remember the mayonnaise jar and 2 cups of coffee.

A professor stood before his philosophy class

And had some items in front of him.
When the class began, wordlessly,
He picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar
and proceeded to fill it with golf balls.

He then asked the students, if the jar was full.
They agreed that it was.

The professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured
them into the jar.   He shook the jar lightly.
The pebbles rolled into the open Areas between the golf balls.

He then asked the students again if the jar was full.  They agreed it was.

The professor next picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar.
Of course, the sand filled up everything else.
He asked once more if the jar was full. The students responded with a unanimous 'yes.'

The professor then produced  two cups of coffee from under the table and poured the entire contents  into the jar, effectively
filling the empty space between the sand.  The students laughed.

'Now,' said the professor,   as the laughter subsided,
'I want you to recognize that this jar represents your life.
The golf balls are the important things - family,
children, health, Friends, and Favorite passions –
Things that if everything else was lost and only they remained, Your life would still be full.

The pebbles are the other things that matter like your job, house, and  car.

The sand is everything else --The small stuff.

'If you put the sand into the jar first,'  He continued,
'there is no room for  the pebbles or the golf balls.
The same goes for life.

If you spend all your time and energy on the small stuff,
You will never have room for the things that are important to you.

So...

Pay attention to the things that are critical to your happiness.
Play With your children.
Take time to get medical checkups.
Take your partner out to dinner.

There will always be time to clean the house and fix the disposal.

'Take care of the golf balls first --
The things that really matter.
Set your priorities. The rest is just sand.'

One of the students raised her hand and inquired what the coffee represented.

The professor smiled.
'I'm glad you asked'.

It just goes to show you that no matter how full your life  may seem,
there's always room for a couple of cups of coffee with  a friend.'

God bless you.

The Power of Thinking BIG & Positve Mind!

Many of us seem to define the word success as synonymous with security. Can a big organization risk turning their company over to people like that? If you're a big boss, I believe you definitely not allows.

“The thing I can’t understand is why should young people these days be so ultraconservative, so narrow in their view of the future? Every day there are more signs of expanding opportunity. This country is making record progress in scientific and industrial development. Our population is gaining rapidly. If there ever was a time to be bullish about America, it’s now.”

The tendency for so many people to think small means there is much less competition than you think for a very rewarding career.

Where success is concerned, people are not measured in inches or pounds or college degrees, or family background; they are measured by the size of their thinking. How big we think determines the size of our accomplishments. Now let’s see how we can enlarge our thinking.

Ever ask yourself, “What is my greatest weakness?” Probably the greatest human weakness is self-deprecation- that is, selling oneself short. Self- deprecation shows through in countless ways. For instance, John sees a job advertisement in the paper; it’s exactly what he would like. But he does nothing about it because he thinks, “I’m not good enough for that job, so why bother?” Or Kenny wants a date with Joel, but he doesn’t call her because he thinks he wouldn’t rate with her. Peter is filling out a job application form. One question asks, “What beginning salary do you expect?” Peter puts down a modest figure because he feels he really isn’t worth the bigger sum that he would like to earn. (These are a great examples as you and I always did it.)
Philosophers for thousands of years have issued good advice: KNOW THYSELF. But most people, it seems, interpret this suggestion to mean know only thy negative self. Most self- evaluation consists of making long mental lists of one’s faults, shortcoming, and inadequacies. It’s well to know our inabilities, for this shows us areas in which we can improve. But is we know only our negative characteristics, we’re in a mess. Our value is small.

[There is only one conclusion you can honestly reach: You’re bigger than you think. So fit your thinking to your true size. Think as big as you really are! Never, never, never sell yourself short!]

The important measure of a person’s vocabulary is not the size or the number of words he uses. Rather, the thing that counts, the only thing that counts about one’s vocabulary, is the effect his words or phrases have on his own and others’ thinking.

Here is something very basic: we do not think in words and phrases. We think only in pictures and/or images. Words are the raw materials or thought. When spoken or read, that amazing instrument, the mind, automatically converts words and phrases into mind pictures. Each word, each phrase, creates a slightly different mind picture. If someone tells you, “Jim bought a new split-level,” you see one picture. But if you’re told, “Jim bought a new ranch house,” you see another picture. The mind pictures we see are modified by the kinds of words we use to name things and describe things.

Look at it this way. When you speak or write, you are, in a sense, a projector showing movies in the minds of others. And the pictures you create determine how you and others react.
Suppose you tell a group of people, “I’m sorry to report we’ve failed.” What do these people see? They see defeat and all the disappointment and grief the word “failed” conveys. Now suppose you said instead, “Here’s a new approach that I think will work.” They would feel encouraged, ready to try again.

Suppose you say, “We face a problem.” You have created a picture in the minds of others of something difficult, unpleasant to solve. Instead say, “We face a challenge,” and you create a mind picture of fun, sport, something pleasant to do. Or tell a group, “We incurred a big expense,” and people see money spent that will never return. Indeed, this is unpleasant. Instead say, “We made a big investment,” and people see a picture of something that will return profits later on, a very pleasant sight.

The point is this: Big thinkers are specialists in creating positive, forward- looking, and optimistic pictures in their own minds and in the minds of others. To think big, we must use words or phrases that produce big, positive mental images.

Phases that creates small, negative mind images:
  1.       It’s no use, we’re whipped.
  2.       I was in that business once and failed. Never again.
  3.       I’ve tried but the product won’t sell. People don’t want it.
  4.       The market is saturated. Imagine, 75% of the potential has already been sold. Better get out.
  5.       Their orders have been small. Cut them off.
  6.       The competition has all the advantage. How do you expect me to sell against them?
  7.        I am too young (old) for the job.
  8.       It won’t work, let me prove it. The image; dark, gloom, disappointment, grief, failure.
  9.        Let’s wait until a recession comes along, then buy stocks.
  10.        Nobody will ever want that product.

Phases that create big, positive mind images:
  1.           We’re not whipped yet. Let’s keep trying. Here’s a new angle.
  2.       I went broke but it was my own fault. I’m going to try again.
  3.       So far I’ve not been able to sell this product. But I know it is good and I’m going to find the formula that will put it over.
  4.       Imagine, 25% of the market is still not sold. Count me in. This looks big!
  5.       Their orders have been small. Let’s map out a plan for selling them more of their needs.
  6.       Competition is strong. There’s no denying that, but no one ever has all the advantages. Let’s put our heads together and figure out a way to beat them at their own game.
  7.       Being young (old) is a distinct advantage.
  8.       It will work, let me prove it. The image: bright, hope, success, fun, victory.
  9.       Let’s invest now. Bet on prosperity, not depression.
  10.       In its present form, it may not be salable, but let’s consider some modifications.

    HOPE

Hard Times can means no money. Hard times can mean no friends, no job and no hope. Hope is what we need most. The good news is that it is possible for you to climb out of the deepest hole. If you are unhappy with your life right now, you may look back in a few months and see how these difficult times helped to prepare you for something better.

Most of us start out life believing:
    * mistakes are bad
    * the happiest people have the easiest lives
    * the smartest people are the most successful
    * we need a partner to be happy
None of the above statements are necessarily true.

They're not happy. They just think they're happy.

    Ladies & Gentlemen,
    Sometimes,what we see is unnecessary
it is totally different what we expected.
what we expect are totally different sometime.

It‘s time to Move On! Go, Go, Go...

Almost 8 years worked and lived in the big city, what I have realized that is majority people like to keep enjoying working life in the same organization (without any further planning), or so called just want to stay in the comfort zone; in other word is their selling their own time and age to the organization without any noticed. For me, this is not exactly what I want and want to be. Unless it can bring the greatest happiness and helping hand to the group that need it desperately. For instance; Non-profit organization (NGO)

After some time, I am realized that IT‘S TIME  MOVE ON to the another stage and not only keep standing in the same place or the " Comfort zone". Sometime, keep moving forward may give you an unimaginable and unsuspected greater satisfaction and enjoyment. It could make one of your life chapter become more meaningful and fun.WHY NOT JUST GIVE A TRY? Never Try, Never Know.

Here, I won't say that you're guarantee success and get what you want if you dare to try a new thing. But what I can guarantee that you won't get any if you don't try.
