So Is Life A Series of Painful Disasters?

Not necessarily. The universe is always nudging us with gentle signals. When we ignore the signals, it nudges us with a sledgehammer. Growth is most painful when resist it.

We can react to life in one of three ways. We either say:
"My life is a series of experiences I need, happening in perfect order."
(The healthiest approach-guarantees maximum peace of mind)
or

"Life is a lottery, but I make the most of whatever comes along".
(The next best option- offers average quality of life)
or

·         "Why do bad things always happen to me"?
(Guarantees maximum misery and frustration)

Life goes like this. We get hit by little pebbles- as a kind of warming. When we ignore the pebbles, we get hit by a brick. Ignore the brick and we get wiped out by a boulder. If we're honest, we can see where we have ignored the warning signs. And then we have the nerve to say, "Why me?"

Life doesn't always have to be painful- but pain is still the main reason we change. Until we are in pain, we can pretend. Our ego says, "I'm fine."

It's always easier to be philosophical about other people's pain! We look at Jim and say, "Going broke was a huge learning experience for him." We look at Mary and say, "That divorce helped her to stand on her own feet." We all agree, "Challenges make you stronger."

But when our own challenges come along, we're not so enthusiastic. We say, "Lord, why this? Give me a convenient challenge!" Unfortunately, real challenges aren't convenient.

Challenges also come in waves. We know about waves- sound waves, light waves, brain waves, microwaves. In non- scientific terms waves demonstrate that things have a tendency to travel in bunches.

This means that problems happen in groups; family crises, wedding invitations and car repairs also tend to travel in bunches. Bearing this in mind is helpful. When you strike a month without bills, you say to yourself, I'll put something aside for the next wave." When you get swamped by the next wave, you say to yourself, "I know about these waves- this is only temporary."

In reality, we have nothing. What we have is only the thing that given by our parents. They given us new life, and what make our new life more worthwhile?
The answer is LOVE, life is a journey and love is what makes the journey worthwhile.

"It happened. Life goes on".

"If through sadness you can fix the future, then do it!
But being sad doesn't fix the future."
Sunrise is still wake up every early morning!

Someone told me that, I wake up every day choosing to be happy. What can possible hurt me now? What can worry me now?
Life is like a movie. It's not the length but the quality that matters.

There is no secret to Happiness. You just choose it.

I Can't Take It Anymore! So, Just Let Tomorrow Take Care Of Itself.

Sometime life is hard. How do you hang on when things seem hopeless? You can only tackle your problems as you would climb a mountain.

If you go rock climbing and you get stuck on a ledge, you suddenly focus on the present moment! When your life is in danger, you forget about the future. All your effort goes into your next step. Then your next step. Inch by inch. Eventually you claw your way out.

The same strategy works for everyday life. It is the only strategy when life gets tough. You say, "How can I stay positive when I can't even pay the rent? How do I keep going when I'm grieving, lonely or seriously ill?"

When the worst happens, you can't worry about the rest of your life. You can't even be worrying about the rest of the month. But you can usually handle one day at a time. And whenever 24 hours is too tough, bite off five minutes at a time. Tackle one problem at a time. Take a step. You get a little confidence...take another step, and another. Eventually you find that the worst is over.

If you were to worry about:
a). everything you need to do in the next month, or
b). everything that could go wrong in the next year, you could go nuts! Focus on the moment.

If you were embarking on a day's march, wouldn't it be foolish to try to carry enough food and water for a lifetime? Is it not strange, then, that many people carry around all their worriers for the next 25 years and wonder why life is so difficult? We were designed to live 24 hours at a time. No more.

Next time you find yourself despairing, ask yourself:
* Have I got enough air to breathe?
* Have I got enough food for today?
* Will I be okay for the next five minutes?

Once you have made it through those five minutes, just aim at getting through the next five. Bite off one small chunk at a time. It saves a lot of indigestion.

All you can do is give your best effort until bedtime.
Let tomorrow take care of itself.

For me, if tough time meets up with me, what I usually do is;
Fit my stomach first. Nothing else. It's extremely effective.
"As we probably know, No energy, No fight"
